Write a short review of the film A Place at the Table. Summarize the theme, desribe the segments or images that interested you the most, and analyze why those segments were effective. Rate the film on a scale of 1 to 4 "stars" (1 is the worst, and 4 is the best), and give reasons for your rating.

A short review
-This film was very interesting for its contents and I like it a lot, I rate it with three stars because I like the debate of characters on this film. First the idea of this film is acceptable and much related with our topics here in Kosovo. American history is built on the truth of its nation and in the real facts of “war” for freedom, slavery, equality, human rights etc. This film shows all of these elements and what is more it shows the character of USA dominated by a dream for better future and opportunities named as American Dream.
Early years of USA were characterized with civil wars, discrimination and racism but also with an opportunity to create a better future. In this film the main debate is to tell the others how USA was build and how does it function today. A place at the table means a place to talk, to debate and to belong. My task was to describe David as a part of this film but I will talk in general for him and others. Their debate was about America on its early days, how their families emigrate in USA, how they were accepted and treated and how do they interpret it from today?. David’s grandfather was Jewish he managed to escape from Auschwitz in the USA and as a hero he was accepted well in society he opened a shop and create a family. He suffered Hitler regime but he was not maltreated in USA as a difference between other characters. Samuel is the person that I liked most in this film because he showed the real American facts of slavery and racism. His grandmother went in USA in the time of slavery so she was a slave and hardly managed to get free, after they got free was the problem of emancipation and self-management so they came to a result of racism when everything was divided in White and Black. Black people were abused and divided from the society in the part named as a Black World (Gheto’s, blackshops, blackschools etc).He teaches us a lesson; How things should be forgiven in the name of tolerance and how should we manage the future with a dream that can be realized. If American Dream means to have a (house, job, car, family) today it is a reality every citizen has equal opportunity to achieve this dream and more. Never give up for a place to be. Diversity of USA is a wealth of this great nation; with people who suffered to belong there, who died for its cause (freedom and equality), who worked for the future and who fight for its ideals. This is USA and these are the great lessons of tolerance.

A place at the table
You know people work so harde to rise the meaning of their lifes.This was the attention of Peter and others in this kind of movie called "A place at the table".They all had a same attention to show us what their family suffer to rise the dream called Amerika.I will speak a little bit about my personality from the movie that I had to do in the class.His name is Peter and he is from Japan.Since their grandfather and grandma' came to Amerika he and his family suffer to much.After that his father tries to recover himself and his family by openig a kind of shop.After that he describe the war and the situation that the japanese were.
But let describe the relationship between the youth that were talking and the stories that they were talking about.This kind of segment express the coclusion of and the relation that ends with very pain memories.
And about that if the movie was or wasn't effective I think it were absolutly good cause' it possession all images,text,speeches,and other thing that this kins of movie should have.
Ow I was already forgeting that th must emotional image was the ascalled the"Holokaust".The rampage that Hetler used agaist the Hebrey.
At the if I rate this movie I would give it a ten couse'it deserve it but in htis case rateing is 1-4 so i give it 4.There are a lot of reason for but the main one is that"when a movie enter in your emotions,he rise the point that he is created for",so if we look carefully we will see that this is the trouth.
