You have three homework assignments for next Thursday:
1: Finish the ‘Identify the topic sentence’ section of the worksheet that we did not complete in class.
2: Return to your collage essay. If you don’t have paragraphs in your essay, you need to create them! Write topic sentences for each of your paragraphs. This might require you to move sentences around, delete sentences, and add sentences. This can be difficult, but it MUST BE DONE. This is part of revision.
3: Work with your group mates to prepare a presentation on your grammar mechanics point: comma, run-on sentences, sentences fragments, capitalization, and subject-verb agreement. Remember, you need to A) say what it is B) find examples from your own writing and C) present your topic in an interesting and fun way. Every person in your group should have a speaking role.
If you were not in class last Tuesday, they you did not receive the Revision Checklist that I handed out. If you do not have this check-list, then email me and I will send it to you. My email is foshee07@gmail.com
