LDK is the political party that i will taulk about.The LDK it's made at 23 of december in 1989 from intelectual people who's lead from ex president of kosova dc.IBRAHIM RUGOVA.Since forming of this political party until now in kosovo has too many important changes for our life.This political party has a very especial role for us maybe for the fact that they was just one party in country and nobody else can't present our dreams degnified until then war was finished.Now the leader of LDK is prof.FATMIR SEJDIU ,who was the one of promoters of this political party.FATMIR SEJDIU profesor,politician and second president of kosovo futhermore he is secretary general of LDK since1994.Leader of LDK pronounce that this party is based in culture more than in ideology because culture it's the easy way to arrive our aspiration.This party like all political parties in kosovo are suports by the budget of kosovo acording as how many percent of government they win from election .the LDK platform is the same like dc.RUGOVA made few years before than he died:"an independent KOSOVO for a better life" it's their motto,wich represanted RUGOVA's and he's descendant desire that KOSOVO to be an independent state accepted by AMERICA and UE.This party promise that they will care mostly about youth because they are the future of our country,they will care for education and find job for everyone.They promise that will get changes in education,economy,ecology etc..

-AAK is established on the idea of unification of political parties and Kosovo citizens in order to make more possible fulfillment of its goals and goals of the people of Kosovo . AAK was established on 2 May 2000 on the long-term diverse experience of political parties and individuals that established it.The alliance is formed by:
• Parliamentary Party of Kosovo (Partia Parlamentare e Kosovës)
• Civic Alliance of Kosovo (Aleanca Qytetare e Kosovës)
• National Movement for the Liberation of Kosovo (Lëvizja Kombëtare për Çlirimin e Kosovës)
• Party of Albanian National Union (Partia e Unitetit Kombëtar Shqiptar)
• Albanian Union of Christian Democrats (Unioni Shqiptare DemoKristiane)
After the first municipal election,AAK won 7.7% of the election’s,and so it was the 3rd party in Kosovo,after LDk and PDK.The same percentage was won also in the Central Election’s and so again the same rank.In the first Government AAK,as member of the great coalition,was represented with two (2) ministries.AAK has saved in the last election’s the same percentage. At the last legislative elections, 24 October 2004, the alliance won 8.4 % of the popular vote and 9 out of 120 seats in the Assembly of Kosovo, which made it the third largest political force..After the negogiation’s for the coalition,AAK together with the major party LDk and other non-albanian parties formed the Government,which is actually in the power,and in which AAK taked the Primeminister and four ministries.The Prime-Ministers form AAK was changed several times,the 1st was Ramush Haradinaj who resigned from this Position,the 2nd was Bajram Kosumi who also resigned from the position and the last is Agim Çeku,who is the present Prime-Minister.

- The leader of AAK is Ramush Haradinaj,who is a former commander of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) and prime minister of Kosovo. He finished High School in Gjakova and graduated from the Faculty of Law in the University of Pristina.. Haradinaj is regarded as a national hero by many Kosovo Albanians. Following the elections of October 2004, however, he entered into coalition talks with the LDK, led by the then President of Kosovo, the late Dr. Ibrahim Rugova. The outcome was a government with Haradinaj as Prime Minister. Haradinaj served only 100 days as Prime Minister before being indicted for war crimes by the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY), at The Hague. Haradinaj is married to the RTK news reporter Anita Haradinaj, they have two young children (a boy and a girl).

-The majority of the supporters are from south-east Kosova,in the Dukagjini Region,where is the origin of Haradinaj.The voters of AAK are all Albanians,but he has also a support also form non-serb’s minorities.

In the website of the Central Election’s Commision I have found some detail’s,but not the main information,about the Budget of AAK.Like this source the party is financed form private donors.But I have see that the donors are the most from the Dukagjini Region.
6. What is the party platform? What promises does the party make?
AAK promises a development of the economy and through that also finding a solution about the social problems.In the political aspect they promise to declare the indepence of Kosovo,because like they that is a practical issue. The starting point of its entire activity is Kosovo
citizen, his/her economical, social, political, cultural, educational and national welfare.
Individual and collective rights and freedoms of a citizen are inalienable for all,
irrespective to nationality, religion, color, race, political affiliation, and social and
language background.
AAK affirms and is committed to political pluralism and democracy values created
based upon the positive inheritance of western democracy in the last two centuries.

After ex-president of Kosovo Ibrahim Rugova died there was a political collapse here, so LDK need to candidate another delegate for president, in that time Nexhat Daci was leading the assembly of Kosovo so according to rules he was substitute of Rugova till they choose new president.
Than when time has come for LDK to make a lists of delegates and to vote for him there was a little misunderstand because the last will of Rugova was that Fatmir Sejdiu to get his stool.
So a year ago Nexhat Daci with other discontent delegates separate from LDK and create LDD as new political party.
LDD group is represented in current government by 6 deputy :

Member of committee for judicial, legislative matters and constitutional framework with sub-committees for Gender Equality, Petitions and public complaints and missing persons.

The leader of LDD party is Nexhat Daci
He was born in 26.07.1944 in Tërnoc. A big village in East of Kosovo. This village is out of Kosovo border line but historically populated with Albanians. However Nexhat Daci is part of this community.
He is a son of very rich and important family, he is a sixth child a son of Mehmet and Nadire Daci. His mother died in his early childhood and only few years ago died his father so he grew up by his sister and brothers.
He finished primary school in Tërnoc than continues secondary school in Bujanovc when he met his wife Zeneta a intellectual woman too, he marry her and they have 3 child together.
He graduate in university of chemistry in Beograd(1962-1966), than he finish master in Beograd too (1966-1968), he postgraduate in university of Zagreb in chemistry (1969-1973), he finished an English language school in Foilkestone (England).
He was very important political personality in Kosovo.
He was second personality in LDK beyond Ibrahim Rugova and he was leading assembly of Kosovo from 2001-2006 then he get degraded after other politic parties and LDK accused him for corruption.
Now he is deputy of assembly a part of LDD group.

This political party base is for a Kosovo independent, legitimate, unique, to integrate Kosovo to EU, NATO etc. and to make better cooperate with Balkan states and to continue friendship with U.S.A.
To guide Kosovo better and to bring Kosovo in right way, to better education, better economy and to lead Kosovo in democratic principal.

This political party is supported by many donors outside of Kosovo who support this political party and many people who like this party and work for this party. The donors usually prefer to be anonymous for other outside party.

Leader of LKQK is Smajl LATIFI –He is charismatic and very strong leader because he continues to keep the idea of Union with Albania. This leader and party are recognized as ultra conservative party.

Party platform is considered as ultra national or conservative party. This party promises on this elections that they will not negotiate with Serbia for Kosovo’s right for Independence or Union (Union with Albania which is based on International rights for nations to decide)., they will not be “slaves” but partners with international community and they will work enough for better future in all dimensions (political,economical,cultural etc).

* This Thursday they will end elections tour around Kosovo with a “magnificent” event in Prishtina.

-This party is small so they do not have a web this made assignment very hard to complete. I also tried to visit their location but they were busy with elections so since I am not a journalist, I don’t have relevance for them... but I based my information on former members of this party and some of my general knowledge about political parties in Kosovo. AAK is a political party that was created on may 2000 in coalitiones with some other small parties, with members of an patriotic past. At the begining AAK was an coalition of five national parties. In 2001, two of the parties runaway from the coalition. After the parlamentary elections in 2001, for the municipality elections in 2002, AAK qas registered as independent politic party and started to operate in her own way, not as a coalition. Lot of the party members are exmembers of UCK (Army for the Liberation of Kosova) and patriots.
AAK is an pro-Europian party that works for a democratic Kosovo, independent and multietnic. There is a big number of womans and young people that rae members of the AAK. President of the AAK from the time when the party was estabilished was and still is Ramush Haradinaj, even that he lie in prison in Hague.
This party had three Prime Ministers: Ramush Haradinaj (2004 -march2005), Bajram Kosumi (march 2005 - march 2006)and Agim Ceku (march 2006 - ).

The leader of this party is Ramush Haradinaj. He was born on July 3 1968 in the tiny village of Gllogjan, in the Decan municipality
of western Kosovo.He finished high school in Gjakova and graduated in Law from Kosovos Prishtina University.
He was commander of the Dukagjini operative zone of the Kosovo Liberation Army, which, loosely translated means he was a guerrila commander in the struggle of the Kosovo Albanians against their Serb overlords in 1998 and 1999. His base was in his home village.
After the war was finished he created his political party called AAK and later in a coalition with LDK he become a Prime Minister, but after 100 days of its leading like Prime Minister he was wanted by international tribunal justice of Hague, and he went there with free will. He was accused for war crimes during the war for liberation of Kosova (1998 - 1999). In Hague he declairs that he is innocent, and the accuses are made by government of Serbia.
However it is, he is a hero for Alabanians, he is a hero and stays like that, but for the other people he is just another criminal.
